These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of igscraper on igscraper.co (the “Site” and “Service”). The Service is operated by Cosmic Code LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”).
By using the Site or Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.
These Terms also reference our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
1) Key definitions (plain English)
- Account: your registered user account
- Credits: units you use to run actions in the Service
- Subscription: a recurring plan that includes a set amount of Credits per billing cycle
- Top-Up: a one-time purchase of Credits (pay-as-you-go)
2) Eligibility
You must be 18+ to use the Service.
3) Accounts and security
- Keep your login credentials secure. You’re responsible for activity under your Account.
- If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us via our contact page.
One account per person.
You may not create or maintain multiple accounts to bypass limits, enforcement, or restrictions. We may suspend or terminate accounts we believe are duplicative or abusive.
4) What the Service does (and what it doesn’t)
igscraper is a cloud-based tool that helps you extract and export information from publicly accessible Instagram targets (followers, likers, hashtags, locations, public emails, and similar features depending on the tool you use).
- No Instagram login required.
- Not affiliated with Instagram/Meta.
5) Acceptable use (be reasonable)
You agree not to use the Service:
- In ways that break laws or regulations
- In ways that violate privacy rights or third-party terms
- For spam, unsolicited bulk outreach, harassment, or harmful behavior
- To interfere with the Service (security testing, scraping the Service itself, abuse, malware, etc.)
- To resell, sublicense, or “white-label” the Service without written permission
- For unlawful profiling or other prohibited purposes
You are responsible for how you use exports and results from the Service.
6) Credits and how we charge
Credit rules live in the product. The exact credit costs may vary by feature and are shown in the app and/or on the pricing page. We may issue promotional or welcome credits at our discretion. Promotional credits have no cash value, are non‑transferable, and may be modified or revoked in cases of abuse or misuse. Any special terms (such as eligibility or expiration) will be shown in the product at the time of issuance.
Unique results / no duplicates.
We’re designed to avoid charging you for duplicate results previously delivered to your Account. We keep internal records so we can filter duplicates for you.
Failed requests and partial jobs.
- If something fails and produces no deliverable results, we don’t charge Credits for that failed request.
- If a job ends early but still produces deliverable results, we only charge for what was actually delivered.
Email scraping.
For email features, a result is considered deliverable when a public email field is present and included in your delivered output/export.
Non-transferable.
Credits can’t be transferred between accounts and have no cash value.
7) Subscription credits
If you have a subscription:
- It auto-renews unless you cancel.
- Subscription Credits are provided each billing cycle and expire at the end of that cycle (no rollover), unless we clearly state otherwise.
8) Top-Ups (pay-as-you-go)
Top-Up Credits:
- Do not expire, unless we clearly state otherwise at purchase
- Stay tied to your Account and are non-transferable
9) Payments, cancellation, and refunds
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe.
Cancel anytime
You can cancel your subscription from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless stated otherwise.
No refunds
All sales are final. We don’t offer refunds for subscriptions, top-ups, or unused credits, except where required by law. We may publish a separate refund page later, but these Terms still apply unless we explicitly say otherwise.
10) Availability and data accuracy
We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but:
- We can’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
- We can’t guarantee the completeness or accuracy of extracted data
- Public Instagram information can change or be missing
11) Intellectual property
We own the Service, branding, and underlying software (excluding third-party trademarks). You get a limited right to use the Service as intended, as long as you follow these Terms. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service.
12) Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you:
- Break these Terms
- Abuse the Service or create security risks
- Engage in fraud or behavior that harms the Service or others
- Require removal due to legal compliance
If your account is terminated, unused credits may be forfeited where permitted by law.
13) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
14) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption).
- Our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limits, so parts of this may not apply to you.
15) Indemnity
If your use of the Service causes a third-party claim (for example, from how you use exports), you agree to defend and indemnify Cosmic Code LLC and its team to the extent permitted by law.
16) Disputes and governing law
Talk to us first. If you have an issue, contact us via /contact and we’ll try to resolve it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA (excluding conflict-of-laws rules). Any legal action must be brought in state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
17) Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll post the latest version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If changes are material, we may also notify you via email or in-app notice.
